Anti-Ragging Week Celebrated at RLH College of Pharmacy

The Anti-Ragging Week was observed from 12th to 18th August 2025 at Rajib Lochan Hota College of Pharmacy, Mahada, Barpali, with the aim of spreading awareness about different forms of ragging and its prevention.

The closing ceremony was held on 18th August 2025 in the presence of Honourable Chairman Shri Narendra Kumar Hota, Honourable Secretary Shri Damodar Panda, Dr. Ranjan Kumar Sahoo (Director, TPC Barpali), Dr. Ashutosh Padhan (Principal, TPC Barpali), Dr. Ashutosh Meher (Principal, RLHCP Barpali), Dr. Sudhir Kumar Sahu (Vice Principal, RLHCP Barpali), and Mr. Manoj Kara (Principal, MSHST Barpali) along with teaching and non-teaching staff. The event was coordinated by Mr. Tribikram Barai, Assistant Professor, RLHCP.

As part of the week-long programme, various competitions were organized:

• Essay Presentation (12th Aug 2025) – Topic: Anti-Ragging Laws

• Poster Presentation (13th Aug 2025) – Topic: Ragging is a Criminal Offence

• PowerPoint Presentation (14th Aug 2025) – Topic: Steps to Prevent Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions

The celebration successfully highlighted the importance of a safe, inclusive, and ragging-free academic environment.
